Silence Meditation - Introduction

It might sound strange to focus on silence. After all, it sounds like it is nothing more than the absence of sound. But, as we shall see, silence is so much more than the absence of anything. It is the background to everything, and as you learn to attend to it you will discover that it is always present to us. The problem is we are not present to it.

These three guided meditations will help you become aware of the presence that is the background to your being. They will also help you understand the importance of silence, and of cultivating a relationship to it.
